My last few minutes of being seventeen :P
I guess that time really flies because the last time I reminded my dad about my birthday and said "it's exactly two months to my birthday!!"

I guess everyone is growing up and a part of me wishes that things would never change.
I'll never forget about my friends, the experiences that I've gone through, my first ever gig, my primary school days and all that.

I wish I'll never grow up and there's such a thing where I could freeze time.

I don't know how I feel about turning eighteen.. I guess there will be a little more freedom! (happy)
Anyways, I really enjoyed myself at Timbre @ Mt Sophia a few hours ago.
I really love to just sit down and talk with my friends.
I love them so much and I don't know what I'd do without them.

Maybe the other half of the year will be even more exciting!
For now I'm just troubled from deciding what I should get on my birthday hehe there are so many things I wanna get I guess I may be just a little materialistic :P

On a side note, I just want my hair to grow faster :/
Cutting my hair was a bad idea. One of the worst things in life is getting a hair cut.
I wish there's some sort of serum to speed up the growing hair process cause I look like a half chopped banana skin and it's really depressing when everyone cannot recognize me with short hair (gloomy)

Maybe tomorrow will be a good day! I think I will be very happy on my birthday :)

I haven't decided on any template for this blog and I was gonna start posting when I get my ass down to beautifying it but I just gotta blog about tonight!

So, school was okay. Classes were dreadful and in the afternoon I helped Evelyn with her radio assignment! She interviewed me about gigs and music which was wonderful :)

Also, today's the last day of Singfest. I just find that it's is getting suckier as the years go by. 2007 and 2008 were probably the best.
But tonight was spectacular anyways!

Jasmine won the Facebook contest on TGSE's page so she got a pair of tickets and brought me along!
Met her and Fiona at around six plus and we went (almost at the front!) to the stage.
TGSE opened and I left to do some sneaking duties.

Met Ruby at around 7!
Did you know that even though the prices of the food sold at the festival was a skem, the veggie burger was badass. I reckon the other burgers taste just as good.
Had a headache since afternoon anyways so Ruby and I sat down at the field to watch Hail the Villain and then we headed to the stage when Ian Brown came on.

I keep mixing Mr Brown and Ian Brown up. Or is it?

Met Fiona in the middle of Ian Brown's set and we squeezed our way through the crowd to get to Jasmine and Crystal!
During this squeeze, I parted ways with Ruby. (sorry ;()

Anyways, The Vines were pretty damn awesome! I really like Ryan (shy) but they look really young! and I thought they were about 30+ (or is it?)
I wanna look young when I'm older next time too!

Finally 30stm came on after quite a long wait! or maybe everyone was just impatient :P
He really looked like Jay Manuel when he appeared with his mohawk and sunnies!
There was so much shoving >:( my head should be used for nicer things.
Anyways, I wish they played Vox Populi! I was waiting for that one but oh well :P
Jared started a pretty damn badass mosh pit too!
Maybe one day I'll participate in the wall of death hehe it should be pretty fun.

Suddenly, Jared asked who wanted to come on stage and he started picking people from the crowd!
So many people were getting pulled out and I wanted to be one of them too!
There was this girl in front of me who got pulled out! and then everyone started pushing because they wanted to get to the front row so I got pushed to the barricade and the girl's leg got stucked while she was being pulled out! and then suddenly she kicked my chest with her stucked-foot (wtf). I know like... your foot is stuck but there are other gentle ways to retrieve your foot?
I don't need like an autopsy or something and now my chest is bruised :(

Anyway!! After she freed herself, I stood in her place (yay!) but this Philippines dude behind me was being so rowdy! His damn huge biceps was crushing my skull and he kept saying to the bouncers, "Sir! He picked me sir! Sir!"
and then the bouncers started asking who else is going up? At that point in time I screamed at the bouncers "me! me!" and two bouncers pointed at me and pulled me out! and while I was being pulled out, the Philippines dude still said "No! Sir it's me! No sir it's me!!" and the bouncers were like, NO IT'S NOT YOU.
bahahahaha

Rachel 1- 0 Philippines dude

Being on stage was fantastic. The view of the crowd was breathtaking and I pretty much felt infinite.
Spotted Lizanne, Mae and Ian too! so all of us went crazy while singing Kings and Queens :)
Lizanne and I picked up a guitar pick too!

What a wonderful day :)
